VETERANS

Veterans monuments to those who have served in the United States military are located on the Town Green(s) in Colchester.

Colchester residents have proudly answered the call to serve our country as early as the French and Indian War, including the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They are proudly represented by members of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), the American Legion, and the Colchester Honor Guard who serve at the funerals of local veterans.
