The Colchester Historical Society with the Colchester Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a 1775 living history event on the Town Green.

Gather the whole family and join us on Colchester’s Town Green for an immersive day of living history!. The all-day event will include:
- 10:00 am: Living history day begins with kid’s militia drills with wood muskets, soldier’s drills, colonial trading,demonstrations in colonial cooking, loom working, and more.

11:00 am: General George Washington and his aides arrive on horseback!
- Meet and greet reenactors. Learn the stories of Colchester citizens during the war. Fife and drum music.
- 3:00 pm: British Loyalists want the town green for their King! Cannons on the green.
- 4:00 pm: Living hsitory camp closes.
